We want you:

Are you a reliable, safety‑focused Trade Assistant looking for a stable town‑based role with plenty of variety?

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys practical work, operating forklifts, assisting trades, and being part of a supportive team that values safety, mateship and high standards.

Responsibilities

As a Trade Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting day‑to‑day logistics and yard operations, including:

- Loading/unloading trucks and handling parts and materials
- General labouring, housekeeping, and yard/workshop upkeep
- Assembly and dismantling work
- Following all safety, environmental and quality requirements
- Completing job paperwork, risk assessments and daily documentation
- Maintaining equipment, vehicles and PPE to company standards

This is a town-based position with consistent hours and no requirement for FIFO/DIDO.

The successful applicant will have:

- MR or HR Class Driver’s Licence
- Current Forklift Licence (LF)
- Current Dogging Licence (Desirable)




- Minimum 2 years’ relevant industry experience
- Strong safety focus and adherence to procedures
- Solid work ethic, reliability and commitment to high standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team with varying supervision level
- Problem solving and decision‑making skills
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
