Injury Management Assistant
We are seeking candidates for the following position at LGISWA, based out of the West Leederville office.
What can you expect?
This role is an exciting opportunity for a professional to deliver administrative services and support to our newly formed in‑house Injury Management team, which enables high‑quality claims and injury management services and processes. The role involves working collaboratively with our internal LGIS claims and injury management team and LGISWA members, service providers and external stakeholders, to help produce cost‑effective outcomes for the Scheme, supporting the best return‑to‑work outcomes for injured workers and the Scheme.
The LGISWA Injury Management team focuses on delivering evidence‑based injury management services which help to mitigate the cost and duration of workers’ compensation claims.
We will count on you to:
- Provide administrative support for the LGISWA Injury Management team to ensure effective management of claims within the WorkCare portfolio.
- Assist the injury management team with processing communications, tasks or actions related to our claims via the Scheme’s claims management system (SOLV).
- Support the team with administrative and compliance‑related tasks and actions, ensuring timely communications, processes, and action items for members, injured workers and stakeholders.
- Assist with processing workplace rehabilitation provider referrals.
- Produce relevant reports.
- Complete administrative tasks to ensure legislative and WorkCover WA compliance.
What you’ll ideally have:
- Reliable administrative skills associated with process efficiency, data analysis and task prioritising.
- Collaborative interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of workers compensation and injury management processes.
- Computer literacy, including intermediate skills in MS Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Self‑motivation and organisational skills.
- Ability to plan independently and prioritise workloads.
