About the role An award-winning beachfront restaurant in Mooloolaba is looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the kitchen team
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
- Manage rostering, ordering, stock and food costs
- Maintain food safety and kitchen standards
- Support menu development and implementation
- Train and develop the kitchen team
- Work closely with management to continue growing the business
About you
- Head Chef, Sous Chef or senior kitchen leadership experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen
- Organised, reliable and hands-on
- Passion for quality food and great team culture
- Someone looking for a long-term prospect
