THE PROSPECT

Responsibilities

As Head Chef at Marsden Brewhouse, you'll lead a team dedicated to delivering excellence in every dish. You will be responsible for but not limited to:

- Delivery of exceptional food and service, ensuring a high standard of consistency and quality
- Managing seasonal menu changes
- Managing and delivering concepts on brand
- Ensuring that food costs and wages are meeting budget
- Conducting internal audits and remedying any issues of non-compliance or poor performance, enforcing stock management policies and procedures
- Responsible for growth and development and performance of the kitchen team

Who Are You As a driven, passionate and focused individual you will possess the following attributes and skills:

- Minimum 3 years Head Chef experience in a high-volume, premium restaurant
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working in a multi-faceted event venue
- Committed to the best standards of food preparation and service
- Knowledge and experience of kitchen food safety systems
- Relevant skills for stocktaking and cost control
- Can work under pressure and is an excellent team player
- Excellent leadership with proven experience in leading large teams to support a thriving kitchen culture
