ABOUT THE ROLE

As Seeker Agency continues to grow, we have a rare opportunity for an experienced client and events leader to lead our Melbourne Client Services team.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you’ll lead an established team and a strong portfolio of client relationships, with responsibility for client service, account growth and the performance of Client Services in Melbourne.

This is a role for someone who knows agency life well. You’re comfortable moving between a senior client conversation, a pitch, a commercial discussion and a team 1:1. You know how to keep things moving when the pace lifts, when to challenge a brief, and how to bring the right people together to get to a better outcome.

You’ll stay close to our key clients, understand their businesses and help the team identify where we can add more value. You’ll work alongside Creative and Production to shape strong responses, protect the thinking and make sure client objectives stay clear from brief through to delivery.





You’ll also lead the Melbourne Client Services plan, aligned to our national commercial strategy, with a clear view across revenue, pipeline, forecasting and sold margin.

And you’ll lead the people around you. That means setting transparent expectations, coaching and developing the team, backing good judgement and creating the conditions for people to do their best work.

A SNAPSHOT OF THE DAY-TO-DAY

- Lead and develop the Melbourne Client Services team
- Build solid, trusted relationships with key clients and senior stakeholders
- Drive retention and growth across the Melbourne client portfolio
- Own and deliver the Melbourne Client Services plan, aligned to the national commercial strategy
- Keep a healthy pipeline of opportunities across existing and recent clients
- Lead and support pitches, proposals and senior client presentations
- Work closely with Creative and Production to shape strong, commercially sound work
- Maintain a clear view of Melbourne revenue, forecasting, pipeline and sold margin
- Keep the team proactive, organised and accountable across agreed processes and rhythms
- Coach and support direct reports through regular 1:1s, feedback and development planning
- Build relationships across the Melbourne market and represent Seeker Agency externally
- Contribute to the broader Leadership Team and Melbourne office culture

ABOUT YOU

You’ll bring

- Significant experience in senior client services within events, experiential, integrated or creative agencies
- Strong events and activations experience, with a good understanding of what it takes to get complex work from brief to delivery
- Proven experience managing and growing senior client relationships
- Experience leading,



coaching and developing Client Services teams
- Confidence with senior and executive-level stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen across revenue, forecasting, budgets and margin
- Strategic thinking, sound judgement and the confidence to challenge when needed
- A strong understanding of the Melbourne agency and events market
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship building skills
- A calm, proactive and accountable leadership style
