Ready to step up and make a compliance function your own?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful, rapidly scaling fintech and take genuine ownership of its Australian compliance function.

Reporting to the General Counsel and managing a small but growing team, you will have the freedom and visibility to shape the compliance program, influence business decisions and build the capability required for the organisation’s next stage of growth.

This is not a role focused on maintaining established processes. You will work out what matters most, set a clear direction and develop practical frameworks that can keep pace with a business that moves quickly.

You will:

- Own and continue to develop the compliance framework
- Identify key risks and set a clear program of priorities
- Provide pragmatic advice as the business and its products evolve
- Build strong relationships and make compliance commercially relevant




- Lead the existing compliance capability and shape the future function

You will bring strong compliance experience from financial services, fintech or another closely regulated environment . You may already lead a smaller function or be an ambitious and capable 2IC who is ready to step up and build something of your own.

What matters most is your judgement, confidence and adaptability. You will be comfortable influencing smart, rapid-moving stakeholders, changing direction when priorities shift and finding a way forward when everything cannot be done at once.
