Haulmark is seeking experienced, motivated Heavy Vehicle/Trailer Fitters to join our team full-time.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanic or experienced fitter looking to build a long-term career with an established trailer manufacturer. We offer above-award pay rates, penalty rates for overtime, secure employment and a supportive team environment.

About the Role

As a Heavy Vehicle / Trailer Fitter, you will be responsible for the upgrade and servicing/repairs of Heavy Equipment (HE) Trailers

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out preventative maintenance and inspections
- Supporting general workshop activities associated with Heavy Trailer Service, Repairs and Maintenance
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work environment
- General Trailer Fit-up tasks, including Lights, tyre fitting, brakes, and hydraulic systems.
- Ensure work is performed as per current work schedules.
- Review detailed drawings or specifications to determine job, material, and equipment requirements.
- Fit and carry out diagnostics, when required,



on pneumatic brake kits (air tanks, brake valves, brake boosters, air hoses, and fittings) on Trailers.
- Check the quality of finished work/Trailers.

About You To be successful in this position, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience working on heavy vehicles and/or semi-trailers
- Strong technical knowledge of trailer systems and mechanical components
- Experience with air suspension, braking, Hydraulic, and related trailer systems
- A proactive and practical approach to your work
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
- The ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team
- A commitment to quality and work health and safety
- Adherence to Quality Assurance (Work and Inspection instructions).
- Perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner
