Hospital - Facilities / Site Engineer - w/ PM experience + stakeholder management

- Looking for high EQ Hospital Facilities / Site Engineers

- Previous experience in a hospital/ large health care environment and, understanding of the sensitivities.

- Diverse and strong multidisciplinary engineering technical knowledge to correctly challenge third party service providers.

- Willingness to adapt to ensure the functioning of the hospital and acknowledgement of the gravity of the human cost of your work.

- Six-Month Contract - High likely extension/ perm - $80/ hr.

Manage the operation and maintenance of central energy plant and hospital utility systems including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, HVAC systems, medical air, FIP, vacuum systems, reverse osmosis plant, HTHW generators, compressed air systems, DG units and calorifiers.

- Coordinate planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities across hospital infrastructure to ensure continuous operation of essential services supporting clinical care.

- Utilise EMPAC CMMS system to allocate work orders, track asset performance, monitor maintenance schedules and maintain asset records.





- Supervise and coordinate trade technicians, contractors and service providers to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and in compliance with WHS and engineering standards.

- Respond to technical faults and emergency maintenance incidents, supporting hospital emergency response procedures and maintaining operational continuity.

- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimise equipment downtime and extend asset life cycles.

- Coordinate labour, materials, access and scheduling for maintenance activities while maintaining compliance with hospital operational requirements.

- Maintain operational oversight of BMS, fire protection systems, CCTV, access control and pneumatic chute systems supporting hospital operations.

- Successfully coordinate mechanical upgrade and refurbishment works in an operational hospital workplace while maintaining continuity of essential healthcare services.

- Improve reliability of critical hospital mechanical systems through structured preventative maintenance programs.

- Successfully coordinate multiple contractors and maintenance teams within a complex hospital environment while maintaining uninterrupted facility operations.
