Kalyra is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Hospitality Assistants to support our residents at our beautiful Belair,



Woodcroft and McLaren Vale residential aged care homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing, comfort, and dignity of older people in our community.

About the Role

As a Hospitality Assistant, you’ll play a key part in creating a warm, welcoming, and safe setting for residents by delivering high‑quality kitchen/food services, cleaning, and/or laundry services.

This hands‑on role suits someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and meaningful connections with residents.

Part Time and Casual Roles Available

What You’ll Do

Kitchen / Food Services

- Assist with meal and beverage preparation and service
- Use kitchen equipment safely and maintain clean, hygienic workspaces
- Support the Food Safe Program

Cleaning Services

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in resident rooms, common areas, kitchen, and laundry spaces
- Safely handle equipment and chemicals
- Assist residents with cleaning needs where appropriate

Laundry Services

- Sort, wash, dry, fold, iron, and return personal laundry
- Label clothing and operate commercial laundry equipment

Desired Skills and Experience

About You You genuinely enjoy making a difference in the lives of older people and take pride in delivering exceptional service. You are reliable, caring and professional, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in hospitality, cleanliness and safety.

You'll be a collaborative team player who communicates well, takes initiative and thrives in a busy environment. Most importantly, you'll bring a positive attitude, a resident-first approach and a willingness to learn and grow.

Previous experience in hospitality, cleaning, food services, laundry services or aged care is highly regarded, however we welcome applicants with the right attitude and a willingness to learn. Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
