About the role
AHL is seeking a full-time Housing Services Officer to join our small and capable Housing Services team based in Albany, Western Australia.
This role will see you delivering high-quality tenancy and property management services across a portfolio of properties.
As a Housing Services Officer you will:
- Conduct condition reports, tenancy sign-ups, entry procedures, lease reviews, and exit procedures.
- Arrange maintenance / repairs on tenanted and vacated properties.
- Manage rental collection and arrears recovery processes in a timely and accurate manager.
- Maintain accurate property and tenancy data across required systems.
- Coordinate reporting, complaints, compliance, quality and accountability requirements to AHL standards.
- Represent AHL at court as required.
- Provide information and advice to tenant support sustainable tenancies.
As AHL is a registered provider of community housing,
the role operates under the Residential Tenancies Act 1987 and the WA Regulatory Framework for Community Housing.
About you
You will form part of a team of property and tenancy professionals in the delivery of our housing operations.
Essential Criteria:
- Deliver high-quality service to customers every time, especially when circumstances are challenging and problems difficult to resolve.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and complete tasks accurately.
- Demonstrate the ability to relate to and work with people from all cultures, in particular Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- Display strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including working with support agencies and government departments
- Hold a current WA driver’s licence
- Demonstrate well-developed computer skills in the Microsoft suite of products.
