Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of retail sales staff to ensure smooth store operations.
- Maintain stock levels, order inventory, and manage deliveries.
- Ensure the store and petrol station comply with safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Recruit, train and support staff in sales techniques, customer service, and product knowledge.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and assist in achieving business targets.
- Assign duties to staff as per the work schedules.
- Open and close the store, handle cash registers,



and ensure accurate cash reconciliation.
- Implement merchandising, pricing, and promotional activities in line with company policies.
- Oversee fuel operations, including safety checks and compliance with environmental regulations.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a retail supervisory or management role (petrol or grocery experience preferred).
- Relevant qualification in Business, Management, or Retail (desirable but not essential).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage a small team in a rapid‑paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and organisational abilities.
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
