About The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Receptionist to join our Clayfield clinic Leadership Team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a senior-level position suited to a confident and capable medical receptionist who brings strong operational knowledge, leadership experience, and a genuine passion for supporting both patients and team members. You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the clinic while supporting the Practice Manager and contributing to the development of our clerical team.

In This Role, You Will

- Act as the first point of contact for patients, managing face-to-face and telephone registrations, bookings, triage, and general enquiries
- Process payments, issue receipts, and manage billing and invoicing activities with accuracy and professionalism
- Use our booking systems efficiently to ensure smooth clinic operations
- Support administrative functions including outbound calls, data entry, and reporting
- Provide leadership support to the Practice Manager, assisting with workflow coordination and team guidance
- Act as a senior resource for the clerical team, supporting onboarding,



training, and day-to-day development
- Lead by example, promoting high standards of customer service, professionalism, and patient care

About You

Along with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service, you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience in a medical reception or healthcare administration role.
- Experience with radiology environment (highly regarded)
- Previous leadership or senior reception experience (highly regarded)
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence supporting and guiding team members
- A positive and collaborative leadership style, with a genuine interest in supporting and developing others. Professional, approachable and committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience.
- The ability to prioritise competing demands while maintaining a calm, qualified approach
- High attention to detail and confidence working across multiple systems and databases
- Flexibility with working hours
- A commitment to patient-centred care and collaborative teamwork

This role requires someone who can step confidently into a senior position and contribute immediately through their experience, maturity, and leadership capability.
