About The Role
As an HR Consultant, you will partner closely with clients and managers throughout the performance review process. You will attend performance review meetings, provide guidance on best-practice approaches, and support leaders in managing performance conversations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and support performance review meetings with clients and their employees
- Provide practical HR guidance before, during and following performance discussions
- Coach managers on how to approach challenging or sensitive performance conversations
- Support performance improvement plans and ongoing performance management processes
- Ensure performance matters are managed fairly, consistently and appropriately
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to clients and key stakeholders
- Build strong relationships with managers and business leaders
- Provide pragmatic advice across a range of people and performance matters
- Confidently navigate sensitive and challenging conversations
About You
- Experience working as an HR Consultant,
HR Business Partner, People Partner or similar
- Strong experience supporting performance management processes
- Confident sitting in on and advising during performance review conversations
- Comfortable managing sensitive employee matters
- Solid knowledge of Australian employment practices and HR frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Commercial, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
- Strong judgement, discretion and professionalism
