Your Role
As an Army Human Resources Administrator, you’ll work in an admin role like no other. You’ll get the opportunity to get out of the office, go out field and on exercises, providing operational support when required. You’ll complete administrative work including admin tasks supporting military personnel, financial management, and undertake a range of other clerical support tasks.
In an exciting twist, you'll have the opportunity to travel Australia and the world, working in a range of environments. You'll also get to work on Navy and Air Force operations when needed.

Common Duties
- Pay and Personnel Administration – Provide administrative support directly to military personnel, or pay and personnel administrative support for personnel
- Resource and Financial Management – Conduct financial resource management within a unit, encompassing a diverse range of clerical, administrative, resource and financial management duties
- Staff Clerk – Undertake a range of administrative and clerical support functions within a headquarters structure, such as assisting staff officers with planning, contributing to appreciations, developing orders, coordinating tasks and operational support requirements (including financial management and training area support)
- Data Analysis – Review data to discover useful information, inform conclusions and support decision-making
- General soldiering duties, such as manning defensive positions, patrolling, traffic control, camouflaging of vehicles and field equipment, and navigation.

Competitive Salary + Generous Superannuation of 16.4%
Get paid to train from day one and earn a salary: $60,517 per year
Once you’ve completed training, you can earn: $82,322 per year
Your salary will continue to increase based on your rank and years of service.
Location
Once you have completed your training, you could be posted to one of the many Army bases and units across Australia. Most of these positions are in North QLD, South QLD, SA and the NT.
Eligibility For this role, you must:
- Be at least 17 at the time of enlistment, an Australian Citizen, and have completed an Australian Year 10 education (or equivalent) with passes in English and Maths
