A.M.Y Nominees Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Antakirinja Matu-Yankunytjatjara Aboriginal Corporation (AMYAC), is seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team on a temporary 6-month contract and support our growing operations across South Australia.

About the Opportunity The Human Resources Advisor will support the HR Manager in delivering effective HR services across A.M.Y Nominees and associated business entities. This is a hands-on and diverse role providing day-to-day HR support, employee relations assistance, workforce support and HR compliance. Working closely with managers, supervisors and employees, you will play an key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle, while contributing to HR projects, process improvements and a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

- Provide first-line HR advice and support to managers and employees on workplace matters, policies, procedures and employment conditions.
- Support employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary processes, workplace investigations, grievances, conflict resolution and absenteeism.
- Assist leaders with performance conversations, probation reviews, development planning and employee engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate return-to-work programs and support employee wellbeing initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR systems.
- Support compliance with employment legislation, policies, enterprise agreements and contractual obligations.
- Assist with the development, implementation and review of HR policies and procedures.
- Monitor workforce compliance requirements,



including licences, qualifications, training, medicals and site access.
- Support internal and external HR and workforce compliance audits.
- Coordinate employment documentation, including contracts, variations, probation reviews and separation documentation.
- Support workforce planning, mobilisation, employee movements and organisational change activities.
- Assist with performance review processes and workforce reporting.
- Lead and contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with the implementation of new HR systems, processes and frameworks.
- Provide recruitment and onboarding support as required.
- Support positive candidate and employee experiences throughout the employment lifecycle.

What We're Looking For

Essential

- Previous experience working in a Human Resources Advisor, HR Generalist, People & Culture or similar HR role.
- Qualification in Human Resources or a relevant field.
- Experience supporting employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, grievances or HR case management.
- Knowledge of employment legislation, Awards, Enterprise Agreements and HR compliance requirements.
- Experience using HRIS or employee management systems, preferably Employment Hero.
- Experience supporting workforce management, performance reviews, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with managers and employees across operational environments.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work with minimal supervision.
- Current National Police Clearance.





Desirable

- Experience working in the mining or resources industry.
- Exposure to employee relations and industrial relations matters.
- Experience supporting organisational change, workforce mobilisation or contract transitions.
- Experience preparing HR reports, policies, procedures and employment documentation.
- Relevant qualification in Business, Management, Training & Development or a related field.
- Experience working with Indigenous/Traditional Owner stakeholders.
- Understanding of Aboriginal Corporation structures and Board governance.
