The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Consultant to join our team on a 10-month fixed-term contract (maternity leave cover).

This is an opportunity to apply your HR expertise across a diverse range of activities, supporting both strategic and day-to-day people initiatives. From attracting and onboarding talent to supporting performance processes, maintaining HR systems, reviewing policies, and coordinating WHS activities, you will play an important role in supporting our people and strengthening our workplace culture.

The Role

- Maintain employee records and HR systems.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including agency liaison, candidate administration, and preparation of employment contracts.
- Support onboarding, induction, and training activities for new and existing employees.
- Maintain training records and assist with learning and development initiatives.
- Review and update HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation.




- Provide support and guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
- Coordinate probationary, performance, and salary review processes.
- Prepare HR reports and assist with workforce data analysis.
- Support the implementation and ongoing management of Work Health and Safety (WHS) programs and compliance activities.
- Promote and embed the organisation's SEIKO Values across all HR practices.

Your Skills & Experience

- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience supporting recruitment processes, including interviewing candidates, stakeholder communication, and the preparation of employment documentation.
- Experience using HR systems, particularly Employment Hero, with the ability to maintain accurate employee records and data.
- A sound understanding of HR principles and employment practices.
- Qualifications in Human Resources or be currently studying towards a Human Resources qualification.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
- A proactive, team-oriented, and solutions-focused approach to your work.
