At GTS, we're looking for an experienced HV Electrical Supervisor to lead our crews across shutdowns, maintenance, commissioning, testing, and fault-finding activities on HV electrical equipment.

We're not after someone who sits in the ute all day pointing at things. We're looking for a hands-on leader who can support their team, build strong client relationships, maintain high safety standards and still jump in when the job requires technical expertise.

What does the role look like?

Working on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster between Perth and Newman, you'll be responsible for:

✅ Leading HV technicians and site crews

✅ Supporting shutdowns and planned maintenance activities

✅ HV testing, commissioning and fault-finding support

✅ Managing day-to-day site works and quality outcomes

✅ Building strong client relationships and maintaining GTS's reputation

✅ Coaching and developing tradespeople and apprentices

✅ Supervising subcontractors when required

✅ Ensuring safety isn't just a slogan on a sticker

You'll be the person helping ensure jobs are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the high standard our clients expect.

What we're looking for

You don't need to know everything. But you'll need to know your way around HV systems and leading people.

Essential:





- WA Electrical Licence or Electrical Engineering qualification
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the electrical industry
- Previous supervisory experience leading tradespeople and apprentices
- Schedule 26 Electrical Supervisor requirements
- Current Australian Manual Driver's Licence
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Full Australian working rights

Bonus Points If You Have:

- Shutdown experience in mining or heavy industry
- Testing and commissioning experience
- A practical problem-solving mindset
- The ability to keep calm when everyone else is looking for someone to blame
