About Alliance Hydraulics

Alliance Hydraulics is a Sydney-based supplier of hydraulic cylinders and components, working directly with manufacturers in China. Our core product is tipper and hoist cylinders for truck and trailer applications, supported by a range of machined components including pins, bushings and chrome rods.

We handle the technical coordination, quoting and freight — our customers deal with us locally and never have to manage an overseas supplier themselves. We commit to a 48-hour quote turnaround.

About the role

We are looking for someone who is comfortable in a truck or trailer workshop setting. You do not need a hydraulics background — we will train you on the product. What we cannot train is the willingness to walk in the door and start a conversation.

This is a casual role, 1–2 days a week, built around your availability.

Responsibilities

- Visit hydraulic and truck parts distributors, wholesalers, truck and trailer repairers, body builders and fleet workshops across Sydney
- Introduce our tipper and hoist cylinder range and identify replacement opportunities
- Take photos and basic measurements of existing cylinders so our team can quote
- Follow up on enquiries and keep customers updated while we handle quoting, factory liaison and delivery

Qualifications





- Comfortable walking into a truck or trailer workshop and starting a conversation
- Some familiarity with the truck, trailer, transport or heavy equipment trade is helpful, but full product training is provided
- Reliable, organised, and able to follow up

Highly regarded (but not required)

- Current driver's licence and own vehicle
- Existing relationships with Sydney truck, trailer or fleet workshops
- Previous experience selling hydraulic cylinders, tipper hoists or truck hydraulics
