We have a current chance for an ILS Technician , on a contract basis within the Defence sector. The role is based in Osbourne, Adelaide . The contract is for an initial 10 month period, with possible extension options .

Start: circa ASAP

DSS Skill Set: Level 2 - Compliance Assurance - Logistics Inventory and Assets The ILS Technician will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

- Assist to identify Alternate Parts and confirm Form-Fit-Function equivalence.
- Assist MARSPT with Technical Assessment of Alternate Items of Supply.
- Conduct on-board audit of ship fitted Certified Items and Engineering Register data, and collection of associated OQE. Assess Combat System OQE.
- Audit Registerable Plant and collect and register associated OQE - requires experience and understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic and other pressure systems and the associated safety considerations.
- Assist in the collection of pre-acceptance maintenance triggers and associated OQE for Combat Systems equipment.
- Audit ILS data against the combat system.




- Condition Assess removed / return equipment for refurbishment or re-testing required and for remaining life.

Minimum mandatory requirements:
- AGSVA Security Clearance
- Defence experience
- Whole Life Warship Capability (BMT)
- Responsible Recordkeeping
- Classified Document Handling
- Navigating US Export Controls
- Export Controlled Material licensed or exemption
- ERP SAPNAV SAP S/4HANA Basic Navigation
- ERP Performance and Goals (P&G;) - Employee
- Sentinel Fundamentals
- ISO 9001:2015 Auditor Accreditation
- JIRA
- Technical
