Hughes Recruitment Partners is supporting Funds SA to recruit an Information Management Analyst to join their Data and Technology group.

This isn't a traditional records management role.

Funds SA is looking for someone who can combine solid information and records management knowledge with hands-on systems capability, user engagement and continuous improvement.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Technology Applications Manager, you'll take ownership of Funds SA's information management systems and work closely with people across the organisation to improve how information is captured, managed, accessed and ultimately disposed of.

You'll be encouraged to get out into the business, understand where the problems are and identify practical ways technology can make things better.

The role will include

- Taking ownership of the configuration, administration and ongoing improvement of M-Files, SharePoint and other information management systems
- Working directly with users to understand problems and improve information accessibility and processes
- Working with technology partners and vendors on upgrades, integrations and system enhancements
- Developing practical information governance policies, procedures and guidelines
- Supporting compliance with State Records SA standards, Records Disposal Schedules and privacy requirements
- Exploring opportunities to use AI and automation to improve information management and create efficiencies





About You We're looking for someone who understands information and records management but is equally comfortable working with systems and people.

You'll ideally bring

- Experience working with information management, EDRMS or document management systems
- Strong systems capability, including configuration, administration and continuous improvement
- Exposure to State Records requirements or a similar regulated environment
- Experience working with technology vendors and supporting system enhancements
- Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills
- A curious, practical mindset and willingness to get involved and solve problems

Tertiary qualifications in Information Management, Data Governance, Information Systems or a related discipline are required. Experience with M-Files would be highly regarded, although comparable information management system experience will also be considered. Why Funds SA?
