As an Interior Designer, you'll contribute to briefing on your own projects. You'll ask the questions that surface a client's real goals, budget and constraints. You'll develop design concepts with growing independence. You'll carry your own rationale through to construction-ready detail.

You'll prepare coordinated documentation to GV's standard. You'll present concepts and project updates to clients with real clarity. You'll build a working understanding of cost planning, fee structures and variations. You'll manage client expectations day-to-day and help build the relationships that generate repeat work. And you'll learn from senior designers every step of the way, with mentorship and feedback built into how you grow.

It's a role built for someone ready to grow from strong technical designer into a confident, commercially aware Interior Designer. You'll get real autonomy, real mentorship, and a clear path toward the next step in your career at GV.

You Will

- Contribute to briefing, asking the questions that surface a client's real goals, budget and constraints
- Develop design concepts with growing independence, backed by a clear strategic rationale
- Prepare coordinated, construction-ready documentation to GV's standard
- Use GV's design and documentation tools with growing confidence to produce polished, client-ready outputs
- Present design concepts and project updates to clients with clarity and confidence
- Build a working understanding of cost planning, fee structures and variations




- Manage client expectations day-to-day and help build the relationships that generate repeat work
- Grow through mentorship and feedback from senior designers, and apply GV's HSEQ standards as second nature

Who We Are Looking For This role will suit someone experienced in commercial interior design, who can work flexibly and is committed to continual growth and improvement.

- A tertiary qualification in Interior Design, Architectural Design or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial interior design.
- Strong ability to visually communicate design ideas, from early sketches through to final presentations.
- Advanced design and visualisation skills, including hand sketching, with fluency in Revit, Enscape, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Solid understanding of building codes, quality standards and documentation requirements.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
