We’re currently working with a well-established specialist insolvency firm that is growing its Sydney team and looking for an Intermediate to Senior Insolvency Accountant to join the business.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants hands-on exposure to interesting insolvency matters, access to experienced practitioners and the chance to take on greater responsibility as they progress.

About the Role

Depending on your level of experience, you’ll be involved across areas including:

- Corporate insolvency appointments
- Investigations and financial analysis
- Preparation of statutory reports and creditor communications
- Reviewing company financials and transactions
- Asset realisations and distributions
- Investigating potential antecedent transactions
- Liaising with directors, creditors, solicitors and other stakeholders
- Supporting senior practitioners across more complex appointments

As you develop, you'll have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and work towards managing your own portfolio of matters.

What You'll Bring

We're open to candidates from Intermediate through to Senior level, with ideally 2+ years' insolvency experience.

- Experience within corporate insolvency
- Strong accounting and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication
- The ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career in insolvency
- CA/CPA or ARITA qualifications are highly regarded.
