Junior IT Analyst

Location: Canberra, ACT (Hybrid/Flexible)

Job Type: Part-time contract – 3 months initially, with possibility of extension

Bright Vision Consulting is a Canberra-based consulting and recruitment firm delivering IT and Cyber Security Audit, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), ICT consulting and specialist recruitment services to government and private sector clients.

Our team supports a range of engagements across cyber assurance, IT audit, business analysis, process improvement and technology delivery.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and adaptable Junior IT Analyst to join our growing team.

This is a great chance for a recent graduate or someone early in their IT career who is looking to gain practical experience across different areas of technology and consulting.

You will work closely with senior consultants and assist with IT support, business analysis, documentation, process mapping, cyber security and GRC activities, IT audit support and general technology administration.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with documenting and analysing IT systems and business processes.
- Support business analysis activities, including requirements gathering and process mapping.
- Assist with cyber security, GRC and assurance reviews and reporting.
- Contribute to IT audit engagements and compliance reviews.
- Assist with basic website and content administration.
- Prepare client deliverables including reports, risk registers,



presentations and supporting documentation.
- Conduct research and assist with solution development across different projects.
- Provide general project and technology support to senior consultants.
- Assist with internal business systems and administration as required.

What We’re Looking For

- Degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Cyber Security or a related discipline.
- Recent graduates and candidates at the beginning of their IT careers are encouraged to apply.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to produce clear documentation.
- Basic understanding of IT systems, cyber security, business analysis or GRC would be advantageous.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on a variety of responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team.
- Australian working rights.
