- Summary: Work with our team of 4 tradesmen and apprentice(s) to gain experience and a qualification which will enable you to produce your own quality landscapes with efficiency and creativity.

About the role Learn with our growing team of 4 to build cutting edge landscapes. Reporting to director Will Blaxland via team leaders/supervisors, this permanent, full-time role’s duties and responsibilities include:

- Work under 1 or more supervising tradesmen with other apprentices on landscape construction projects as well as occasional landscape and machinery maintenance for 3-4 years (depending on attainment)
- Complete Cert III in Landscape Construction at TAFE, attending all required classes and block releases, and passing all tests and requirements within 2 years
- Occasionally travel up to 200 km from Tamworth for project construction

Skills and experience

- Under 21 yo preferred, although experienced older candidates will be considered
- No experience necessary, but any experience will be welcomed
- Transferring apprentices in 1st or 2nd year will also be considered
- Able to work and communicate effectively with others
- Respectful, reliable, and trustworthy
- Able to follow detailed instructions
- Able to be responsible for one's own work with direct and indirect supervision

- 3-4 year fulltime apprenticeship, including approx. 2 years of classes at TAFE (1 day a week, with 3-4 day block releases once per term on average. You are paid when you are at work and at TAFE.

- Travel reimbursement when working further than 15 km from Tamworth
- Free overnight weekday accommodation + food allowance when working further than 70 km from Tamworth
