Lead a small, close-knit team keeping our Central Australia coach fleet running strong. You'll take charge of workshops in Yulara and Alice Springs, split your time between hands-on mechanical work and leading three mechanics, and play a key role in keeping our guests moving safely across the Red Centre.

What you'll do

- Manage the day-to-day workload across Alice Springs and Yulara workshops, coordinating with operations to prioritise vehicle maintenance
- Repair, service and maintain company vehicles to reduce breakdowns and meet compliance standards
- Lead, train and develop your team of three mechanics, acting as a role model on safety and workshop standards
- Ensure all vehicles meet legislative and OH&S; requirements, and pass mandatory inspections
- Manage parts purchasing and stock levels, and maintain the Ampere system for inventory, scheduling and repair records
- Liaise with other Company workshops via Microsoft Teams to coordinate quick, effective repairs
- Inspect vehicles post-repair to uphold high presentation and quality standards
- Monitor and control costs across wages,



tyres and fuel, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

What you'll bring

- Mechanical trade qualification to Australian standards
- HR driver's licence
- Australian refrigeration licence
- Diesel fitting or heavy truck experience
- Proven supervisory or leadership experience
- Solid MS Office skills
- A hands-on, self-motivated approach with strong attention to detail
- The ability to problem-solve under pressure and manage competing priorities
- A team player who can also work unsupervised, with tact and discretion
