Dynamic Leadership Programs Australia (DLPA)

Sydney

Company Description

Dynamic Leadership Programs Australia (DLPA) develops leaders and reduces psychosocial risk for Australian organisations. We have worked since 2016 across construction, mining, health and aged care, and government, and we are 100% Australian-owned, women-led and based in North Sydney. DLPA is also the Authorised Area Representative for Crestcom across Australia and New Zealand, which gives our clients access to the Crestcom L.E.A.D.E.R. programme alongside our own leadership and psychosocial risk work.

Our approach is practical and evidence-based: measurable capability change in the people who actually manage teams.

Role Description

This is a full-time, permanent role based in North Sydney, working on client sites across Australia and Current Zealand as required.

The Leadership Development Consultant is a blended delivery and commercial role. Approximately 40% of the role is live facilitation of leadership programmes, workshops and masterclasses for managers and executives. Approximately 30% is business development and demand generation: hosting masterclasses and discovery sessions, following up leads, building a regional pipeline and generating referrals from participants and their organisations.

The balance is one-to-one coaching of participants between sessions, and programme administration including scheduling, materials, reporting and client communication.

Delivery is of DLPA and Crestcom curriculum under the DLPA brand. Full certification is provided. This is not a role in which you build or promote your own leadership model, publications or speaking practice.

QualificationsEssential

- Demonstrated experience facilitating leadership or management development to groups of experienced professionals
- Willingness and ability to sell - this role carries a business development target, and it is not a secondary duty
- Coaching capability, with evidence of holding people to commitments over time
- Strong interpersonal skills and credibility with senior operational leaders
- Ability to read a room and adjust delivery for different levels of experience and resistance
- Comfortable with the administrative side of programme delivery, including scheduling, reporting and client follow-up
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel within ANZ

Desirable

- Coaching accreditation (ICF, EMCC or equivalent)
- Accreditation in a recognised diagnostic tool (TMP, LSI, Hogan or similar)
- Experience in construction, mining, health and aged care, or government
- Working knowledge of psychosocial hazard obligations under the WHS Regulations
- Relevant tertiary qualification in organisational psychology, education, business or a related field
