Monday to Friday (8:30 am – 5:00 pm) - Office based
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Learning & Development Officer to support the delivery of high-quality learning and development programs across our organisation.
Working closely with managers and staff, you will coordinate training activities, maintain learning records and help identify opportunities to improve employee capability and performance.

Subcontracting means
This is a full time, ongoing subcontracting position working with Frontline. You will submit weekly invoices for hours worked, and payment will be made upon receipt of your invoice. As an independent subcontractor, you will be responsible for managing your own tax obligations. We can answer any questions you have during the interview process
Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and comfortable with the invoicing and administrative process.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer staff training and development programs.
- Organise face-to-face, online and workplace training sessions.
- Manage training calendars, bookings and attendance.
- Maintain accurate staff training and compliance records.
- Support the onboarding and induction of recent employees.
- Assist with the development and review of training materials and resources.
- Coordinate mandatory and compliance training.
- Work with managers to identify learning and development needs.
- Monitor completion of required training and follow up with staff and managers.
- Assist with Learning Management System (LMS) administration.
- Collect feedback and prepare reports on training participation and outcomes.
- Support projects and initiatives designed to improve employee capability and engagement.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Experience in learning and development, training coordination, human resources or administration.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and strong record-keeping abilities.
- Confidence communicating with staff, managers and external training providers.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A positive, professional and customer-focused approach.
Desirable
- Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or relevant qualification.
- Experience in HR, workforce development or employee training.
- Experience working in healthcare, aged care, disability, community services or another regulated industry.
- Australian Business Number (ABN) - subcontracting position.
- Public Liability Insurance (PLI)
