Since 2018, SCEI-HE has been a trusted, innovative private higher education provider delivering industry-aligned qualifications in education, health, and community services. Our to-be-launched Master of Teaching (Early Childhood & Primary) program is designed to produce confident, classroom-ready primary teachers who thrive in today’s diverse Australian schools.

We’re growing fast – with campuses in Melbourne, Adelaide, and soon the Gold Coast – and we’re looking for an outstanding Lecturer to join our Faculty of Education and help launch this flagship program.

This is more than a lectureship. It’s a chance to:

- Directly shape the next generation of primary teachers
- Design cutting-edge curriculum that reflects the latest pedagogies
- Influence the future of teacher education in Australia

What You’ll Do

✅ Deliver inspiring and engaging learning & teaching activities

✅ Create innovative learning environment

✅ Contribute to ongoing quality improvement

✅ Build strong partnerships with schools to secure the best placement opportunities

✅ Engage in scholarship and scholarly activities

About You – You’re the kind of educator who:





- Holds a Doctor of Education or PhD in Education (or related field)
- Brings real primary classroom experience OR proven success in teacher education
- Has current (or eligible) VIT registration
- Loves designing engaging learning experiences (Moodle wizard? Even better!)
- Thrives in diverse, multicultural learning environments
- Is excited by ed-tech (Zoom, MS 365, etc.)
- Wants to be part of a supportive, collegial team that puts students first

Desirable (but not essential):

- Experience in curriculum design or academic quality assurance
- A track record of publications, conference presentations, or applied research
