Your opportunity

As a valued Lifestyle Carer at Anglicare Sydney, you will design and deliver engaging lifestyle programs that promote social interaction, emotional wellbeing, and a sense of purpose to our residents.

With kindness and understanding, you will:

- Facilitate group and individual activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities

- Support residents in maintaining independence and dignity through meaningful engagement

- Collaborate with care teams to integrate lifestyle support into holistic care plans

- Encourage participation and build solid relationships with residents and families

What you’ll bring You are a warm, empathetic and creative individual who is passionate about enhancing the lives of older people. You share our values of integrity, justice, compassion and excellence.

What’s required:

- NDIS Workers Screening Check

- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health, or Bachelors of Diploma in Health Science or Community Services

- Current First Aid Certificate
- Availability to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday.

What’s preferred:

- Experience in Aged Care and thorough knowledge of accreditation guidelines.

- Lifestyle and activity facilitation skills.

- Teamwork and collaboration with nurses, allied health professionals, and other carers.
