We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-focused Afternoon Shift Loader Operator to join our busy production team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high operational and safety standards.
About the Role
Reporting to the Production Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of plant and equipment, maintaining consistent raw material supply, and meeting daily production targets across our site.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate front-end loaders and associated plant equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain continuous supply of raw materials to production lines (CBL, Woodfibre, Baling/Bagging)
- Perform daily pre-start checks, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment
- Monitor stockpiles to ensure proper segregation and inventory control
- Prevent cross-contamination of materials during handling
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping across the site
- Complete accurate daily production reports
- Identify and report plant faults, breakdowns, and safety hazards
- Assist with plant operations, trials, and general production tasks as required

- Proven experience operating front-end loaders or similar machinery

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable and reliable with a strong work ethic
- Please note: you must be willing to undergo a Police Check and pre-employment Medical including Drug and Alcohol screening
