WorkPac are currently seeking experienced Front End Loader Operators for the 2026 harvest season, working at grain transport facilities across regional South Australia. If you're an experienced operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys seasonal work, this is a fantastic chance to secure consistent hours, excellent pay and work with a safety-focused team.

Successful candidates will work across grain bunkers loading trucks using a range of front-end loaders throughout the harvest period.

What's on Offer?

- $42.00 per hour base rate + applicable penalties
- $100 per day Away From Home Allowance
- 8.5–9.5 hour shifts
- Seasonal harvest work through to the end of December
- Accommodation and meals provided where available
- Work with a well-established harvest operation
- Immediate upcoming starts across multiple regional locations
- Monday - Friday work, occasional Saturday work. Welcome to stay at site over the weekends or drive home and back up for Monday start

About the Role

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating front end loaders safely and efficiently within grain bunkers
- High-lift loading and dumping grain into road transport vehicles
- Operating machinery ranging from 2.5T to 5T capacity
- Conducting pre-start inspections and basic equipment checks




- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Following site procedures and all safety requirements
- Working effectively within a seasonal harvest team

Equipment operated includes:
- Caterpillar
- Furukawa
- LiuGong
- Volvo

Skills & Experience

To be successful you will have:
- Current Front End Loader ticket/licence
- Demonstrated experience operating front end loaders in grain, quarry, agricultural or similar bulk material handling environments
- Proven experience performing high-lift truck loading from grain bunkers
- Ability to safely operate 2.5T–5T loaders
- Strong understanding of safe operating procedures
- Excellent work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Mandatory Requirements

- Current Front End Loader competency/ticket
- Relevant loader operating experience
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Full Australian working rights
