- Gladstone Engineering Alliance (GEA) is seeking a senior industry-facing professional to strengthen our relationships across the Central Queensland industrial economy.
- This is a highly visible and practical role. You will spend significant time engaging directly with GEA members, major industrial operators, project proponents, contractors, government and other regional stakeholders.
- We are looking for someone who understands how industry and businesses operate, can build trusted relationships across SMEs and major organisations, and can turn industry needs and opportunities into practical outcomes.
- The role will be responsible for developing solid working relationships across the region, maintaining a grounded understanding of industry activity and emerging issues, supporting practical coordination between stakeholders, and identifying and progressing commercial opportunities for GEA.
- You will build and manage a qualified commercial pipeline,



develop propositions in response to genuine industry needs and contribute to the development and testing of new GEA offerings.
- The role will suit someone with significant experience in industry, major projects, industrial supply chains, business development or a related commercial environment.

Experience across resources, energy, manufacturing, engineering, construction or infrastructure will be highly regarded.

- You will need strong commercial judgement, demonstrated relationship-building capability, an ability to work across different levels of industry and government, and the initiative to operate effectively within a small team.
- You do not need to come from an industry association background. What matters is industry credibility, commercial capability, strong follow-through and a willingness to be out in the field engaging directly with businesses and stakeholders.
