Pacific Talent Partners has been exclusively retained to appoint a Managing Director (Data & AI) for a premier technology consulting and professional services firm. Recognised for delivering large-scale digital and data estates, this organisation maintains a highly strategic footprint across complex technology solutions for Tier-1 enterprise and public sector markets.

The Role

The Managing Director will hold full P&L; and operational accountability for a substantial, multi-capability professional services portfolio. You will serve as the primary commercial driver for the business, aligning broad technical capabilities with modern market demand to lead major enterprise engagements and achieve ambitious growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- P&L; & Growth Leadership: Hold full P&L; accountability for the practice, driving sustainable revenue growth, margin expansion, and high resource utilisation to hit ambitious multi-year growth targets.
- Enterprise Deal Strategy: Act as the primary executive sponsor to personally pitch end-to-end solutions, leading complex, high-value sales cycles across net-current business and major enterprise/government account expansions.
- Executive Team Management: Lead, mentor, and align a large-scale delivery organisation. You will be fostering a high-performance, commercially focused consulting culture.
- Ecosystem Partnerships: Build, nurture, and leverage strategic co-sell and alliance relationships with premier cloud, data, and AI technology partners and hyperscalers.
- C-Suite Advisory & Market Evolution: Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives (CIOs, CDOs, CTOs) across major accounts,



driving the continuous evolution of market-facing solutions to stay ahead of enterprise AI trends and data governance frameworks.
- Delivery Governance: Ensure rigorous quality standards across major engagements, partnering with delivery directors to mitigate project risk, maintain strict commercial guardrails, and guarantee exceptional client outcomes.

Core Competencies:

- Executive Sales & P&L; Leadership: Proven capability to own and scale a multi-million-dollar technology consulting P&L; while personally originating and closing complex enterprise engagements.
- Consulting & Professional Services Expertise: A deep, proven background within a Tier 1 global systems integrator, Big 4 consulting firm, or highly specialised technology advisory boutique.
- Practice Leadership & GTM Innovation: The strategic ability to architect and scale cohesive technical capabilities into high-margin, repeatable commercial offerings and drive comprehensive go-to-market strategies.
- Operational & Delivery Governance: Rigorous oversight of program delivery quality, client risk mitigation, and commercial discipline across large-scale consulting engagements.
- Ecosystem & C-Suite Authority: Exceptional executive presence with a track record of building credibility with C-suite decision-makers and forging high-value co-sell alliances with major data partners.
