Position Overview The Project Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising the integrated master schedule across all phases of the project lifecycle. This role ensures that project plans are accurate, dependencies are understood, risks are visible, and delivery teams have the information they need to execute effectively.

In addition to scheduling, the role provides project coordination support to the Project Manager, contributing to reporting, governance, communication, and general project administration.

Key Responsibilities

Master Scheduling

- Build and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using approved scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Planner, JIRA etc).
- Analyse schedule performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with work stream leads to ensure task sequencing, dependencies, and resource allocations are accurate.
- Conduct schedule risk assessments and scenario modelling.
- Prepare schedule dashboards, critical path analysis, and milestone tracking reports.

Project Coordination

- Support the Project Manager with project governance activities, including meeting preparation, minutes, and action tracking.
- Assist with project reporting, including status updates, RAID logs, and stakeholder communications.
- Help manage project documentation, version control, and compliance with PMO standards.
- Track deliverables and follow up with owners to ensure timely completion.

Stakeholder Engagement

- Work closely with project managers, technical leads,



business stakeholders, and external vendors.
- Facilitate communication across teams to ensure alignment on timelines and priorities.
- Present schedule insights and risks in a clear, concise manner.

Skills & Experience

Essential

- Proven experience as a Project Scheduler or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Planner, JIRA).
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Ability to interpret complex project data and communicate insights effectively.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Desirable

- Experience working within PMO environments.
- Exposure to large‑scale transformation, construction, engineering, or IT programs.
- Familiarity with risk management and dependency mapping.
- Certification such as PMI-SP, PMP, or PRINCE2.
