We are currently seeking a 3rd or 4th year apprentice or recently qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy and growing workshop. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with modern heavy vehicle fleets in a supportive team environment. Will consider an applicant with light vehicle qualifications seeking to upgrade.
Key responsibilities
- Servicing, maintenance, and repair of heavy vehicles and trailers
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Carrying out preventative maintenance and inspections
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with safety regulations
- Maintaining accurate service records
About you
- Currently in 3rd or 4th year apprenticeship or recently qualified as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Light Vehicle seeking to upgrade
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Full driver's licence
