About the Role
This is a full-time position based in our Midland clinic, approximately 70 hours per fortnight.
Training
You'll receive structured training with daily hours to ensure you feel confident and competent in all aspects of the role.
Flexibility
Some flexibility is required to assist with team coverage for sick leave (short notice) and annual leave (advance notice).
This is a dynamic role suited to someone who enjoys variety and responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Provide a warm,
professional welcome to every patient
Manage reception and telephone enquiries
Schedule appointments and manage diaries efficiently
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
Process referrals and claims (Medicare, NDIS, DVA, Workers Compensation)
Liaise with doctors and allied health professionals
Assist with infection control protocols, including instrument sterilisation
Prioritise tasks to ensure smooth daily workflow
About You
We're looking for someone who is:

Confident working autonomously A strong attention to detail
Able to work in a team setting and communicate effectively with that team
Detail-oriented and proactive A strong communicator across diverse age groups and backgrounds
Comfortable with computers and learning new systems quickly
Australian permanent resident status is required for this position
Preferred:
Previous administration or customer service experience
Experience in medical or allied health reception – preference will be given to these applicants
Familiarity with practice management software – preference will be given if previous experience with Genie
