About the Role

This is an Automation Engineer role, where you will be part of our 900+ robust team of testing experts across the country. You will be given the tools you need to advance your skills and experience, while adding true value to your career and our top tier client base. You will bring your coding expertise, business skills and understanding of modern cloud infrastructure along with a desire to continuously improve.

About the Role

As an Engineer Level 1 (E1), you will play a key role in delivering high-quality testing and engineering solutions across traditional and agile environments. You'll work independently on allocated tasks, applying your practical experience while seeking guidance when needed. This role suits someone with initiative, technical capability, and a passion for quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver testing and quality solutions within agreed timeframes and standards.





Apply detailed knowledge of testing practices and contribute to multiple disciplines.

Follow Planit, client, and international standards for testing and delivery.

Collect and report metrics, escalating scope, schedule, or budget issues as required.

Work with a broad range of tools (e.g., test management, automation, CI/CD) and recommend improvements.

Mentor junior team members and contribute to Planit's frameworks and practices.

Support flexible work arrangements, including client site, remote, and office-based delivery.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in functional testing, test planning, analysis, design, execution, and defect management.

Experience using Playwright as a testing tool.

Ability to make simple amendments to automation packs and execute automated test suites.

Familiarity with quality engineering practices across multiple lifecycle phases.

Strong understanding of agile principles and ability to collaborate effectively in ceremonies.

Exposure to automation and performance testing tools is highly desirable.

ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst certification.
