About the role

This is a part-time role at the Claremont Yacht Club Inc. As the Membership and Marketing/Communications Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing the Club's member relations, communications and digital media. This position is integral to ensuring the Club provides an exceptional experience for its members.

This position requires 24 hours per week.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage the Club's membership administration, including processing new memberships and renewals
2. Process new membership applications including entering data into the Member Magic system, requiring a minimum of 6+ months experience with Member Magic software
3. Handle member enquiries and provide excellent customer service
4. Coordinate member communications via the Club's website, social media and email newsletters
5. Create and distribute engaging content to promote Club events, activities and news
6. Create and distribute weekly electronic newsletter for Members using Campaign Monitor, requiring advanced user-level experience
7. Assist with the organisation and promotion of Club functions and social events
8. Provide administrative support to the Club's management team as required
9. Create posters and flyers for all weeknight specials and events

What we're looking for

1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with members and stakeholders
2. Solid organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
3.



Proficient in using digital communication tools and social media platforms
4. Familiarity with membership database management and administration
5. Previous experience in a similar client-facing or member-focused role is highly desirable
6. A passion for the yachting community and delivering exceptional customer service
