Looking for breadth, variety and faster development?
RG Mining Consulting is seeking Mining Engineers and Graduate Mining Engineers who want exposure to more than one mine, one commodity or one technical discipline.
You will build strong operational skills while gaining exposure to drill and blast, production planning, long-term planning, mine economics, cost modelling, feasibility studies and technical due diligence.
You will work alongside experienced mining professionals across multiple assets and commodities in Australia and internationally.
About the role
Multiple roles are being offered. Depending on your experience and interests, responsibilities may include:
- Drill-and-blast design, scheduling and reconciliation
- Blast QA/QC and performance analysis
- Short-term and production mine planning
- Daily, weekly and monthly planning
- Dilution and ore loss monitoring
- Production tracking and reporting
- Drill, blast and load-and-haul performance analysis
- Preparation of mine plans, designs and technical reports
- Use of industry-standard mine planning and drill-and-blast software
- Supporting long-term planning, cost modelling, feasibility studies and technical due diligence
About you
- Degree qualified, or nearing completion of a degree, in Mining Engineering

- Comfortable working with technical software,
data and mine planning systems
- Practical, analytical and keen to learn
- Strong communicators who work well with technical and operational teams
- Motivated to take ownership and develop quickly
- Interested in building both technical and commercial understanding of mining operations

Why Join RG Mining Consulting? This role offers broader exposure than a traditional single-site graduate position.
You will have the opportunity to work across multiple assets and commodities, gain hands-on operational experience, build capability in mine planning and drill and blast, and develop an understanding of mine economics, feasibility studies and technical due diligence.
For graduates and early-career engineers who want to learn quickly, take on responsibility and understand not just how mines operate, but how projects are planned, evaluated and valued, this is a strong platform to build your career.
Location
This role is based on-site, in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.
Candidates must be willing to be based in Kalgoorlie for the role.
