Network Engineer Level 3 (NV1 Clearance Required)

Role:

Provide specialist network engineering support for Defence communications systems, including voice, video, and data networks (LAN/WAN). Support network design, integration, assurance, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and contractor oversight.

You must be an Australian Citizen for this prospect.

Key Requirements:

- NV1 Security Clearance
- Chartered Professional Engineer (or eligible to obtain chartered status)
- Degree in Network Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with network engineering, telecommunications, and secure network environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Leadership/team management experience
- ASDEFCON experience

Desirable:

- CCNA/CCNP (or equivalent) certification
- Defence/CASG project experience
- Knowledge of Defence policies, standards, and capability delivery
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams

Ideal Candidate:

Senior Network Engineer with Defence experience, strong networking and communications expertise, chartered (or working towards chartered status), and the ability to work effectively with Defence stakeholders and contractors.
