We are seeking an experienced Childcare Director / Nominated Supervisor to support a busy (OOSH) Service on the NSW Central Coast. This is a great opportunity for an experience Nominated Supervisor to work flexibly while continuing to lead a team in a supported environment.
This is a full-time position responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the childcare education programs in an on-site public school OOSH centre. The ideal candidate will be able to work split shifts supporting both the Before and After school program, across the working week. Some flexibility in your roster is available with the Company being open to discuss and negotiate flexibility.
The Nominated Supervisor is responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations of the centre in line with Company policies and procedures including;
- Providing leadership, support and guidance to Educators; supporting educator development; and performance management.
- Developing an inclusive and cohesive team environment that focuses on and delivering a fun and stimulating educational program.
- Ensuring the centre is compliant with Company policies, Legislation and the National Quality Standards.
- Management of the administration of the service, including enrolments, rosters & ratios, vacation care planning and attendance.
- Ensuring the health and safety needs of children and educators and met.
- Building skilled and positive relationships with the children and families; encourages regular communication between families and educators.
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a Centre Director or Nominated Supervisor position.
- Certificate 3 or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) or equivalent experience as recognised by ACECQA.
- A Working With Children's Check and Certificate of completion of an Accredited Child Protection Training module (CHCPRT025 or equivalent).
- Current Education & Care First Aid and CPR Certification
- A willingness to undertake a National Criminal History Check Clearance.
- National Foundations of Child Safety Training
- Excellent working knowledge of My Time Our Place (MTOP), National Quality Standards, Regulations and the Assessment and Rating Process. (Desired but not essential).
