About the role

Working alongside the General Manager, the Restaurant Manager will help lead daily restaurant service and maintain consistently high standards across the front-of-house operation. This is a hands-on leadership position with a strong focus on service execution, team development, guest satisfaction and effective shift management.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and supervise restaurant services, ensuring each shift runs smoothly and professionally
- Maintain a visible, hands-on presence on the restaurant floor
- Deliver warm, knowledgeable and attentive guest service
- Support the General Manager with the day-to-day running of the front-of-house operation
- Brief, direct and motivate the team before and throughout service
- Train, coach and develop front-of-house employees
- Help maintain service standards, procedures and a positive workplace culture
- Assist with staff rostering, performance management and recruitment as required
- Manage guest feedback and resolve service issues confidently and professionally
- Coordinate with the kitchen and management teams to ensure effective communication during service





About you

- Proven management or senior supervisory experience in a quality, high-volume restaurant
- Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills
- Excellent food, beverage and general wine knowledge
- A genuine commitment to hospitality and guest experience
- The ability to organise and lead a team through busy services
- Strong attention to detail and professional presentation
- Confidence handling guest feedback and solving operational problems
- Sound computer literacy and administrative skills
- Experience supporting staff training and development
- A current Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
