About the Business: The Salvation Army Driver Programmes delivers community-based driver licensing, driver education, road safety and behaviour change services across metropolitan and rural communities. We support people who experience barriers to obtaining, progressing or maintaining a driver licence, creating pathways to employment, education, independence, wellbeing and safer participation within their communities.
About the Role:
As Operations Manager, you will provide operational leadership across our Driver Programmes and Community Driver Testing services. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on people, systems, reporting, quality assurance and continuous improvement. You will work closely with Coordinators, Administrators and delivery staff to ensure services operate efficiently, consistently and achieve positive outcomes for participants and communities.
What will your responsibilities be:
- Provide operational leadership across multiple programme and service locations
- Lead and support Coordinators and Administrators to achieve high-quality service delivery
- Develop and continually improve systems, processes, reporting tools and operational workflows
- Monitor programme performance, KPI achievement and contractual requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen service quality, efficiency and participant outcomes
Our ideal candidate will:
- Be community minded,

- Have advanced Microsoft 365 capability, including Excel, Forms, SharePoint, Teams, dashboards and reporting systems
- Be an experienced people leader with the ability to coach, support and develop teams
- Have robust organisational, problem-solving and continuous improvement skills
- Be confident analysing data, identifying trends and translating information into practical operational improvements

Candidates should be adaptable, energetic, self-motivated and committed to our mission of 'caring for people, transforming lives and reforming society' This role is permanent/full time and hours worked will be 37.5 hours per week.
The starting salary for this role will be $93,617.55 per annum.
