Operations Manager — Unite Health The Hunt is excited to be partnering with Unite Health to find an experienced Operations Manager to play a key leadership role in the next chapter of this established health and education business.

Established in 2012, Unite Health is the exclusive provider of APPI Pilates teacher training across Australia and New Zealand and a leading provider of Pilates education.

As Unite Health continues to evolve, they're investing in their people, technology and systems to create a simpler, smarter and more scalable business.

This is an opportunity for an exceptional operator to come in, understand how the business works and help shape how it operates into the future.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, this role will lead the operational function and work across the business to turn strategy into action.

Key responsibilities include

- Leading and developing two direct reports, creating clarity, accountability and strong ways of working
- Reviewing existing systems and processes to identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve
- Modernising manual and legacy processes using technology, AI, SaaS and automation
- Leading the implementation of LearnUpon, Unite Health's new Learning Management System, as a key initial project
- Leading operational projects and supporting the team through systems and process change
- Strengthening operational reporting, using data and advanced Excel capability to support planning and decision-making
- Providing operational oversight across course and program delivery
- Supporting the development and implementation of new courses, programs and products
- Building strong relationships across the Unite Health team, educator community, suppliers and external partners
- Partnering closely with the General Manager to support Unite Health's continued growth





What We're Looking For

This person will be an experienced operational leader who can move comfortably between the big picture and the detail.

Naturally organised, calm and solutions-focused, they'll enjoy finding better ways of doing things and won't be afraid to question a process that's become unnecessarily complicated or manual.

Importantly, we're not looking for someone who simply creates more process. We're looking for someone who knows how to simplify it.

Ideally, they'll bring:

- Demonstrated experience in an Operations Manager or similar operational leadership role
- Strong people leadership experience
- Experience leading significant projects, systems implementations or operational change
- Excellent process-improvement capability
- Advanced Excel skills, with confidence analysing data, developing reports and supporting forecasting and planning
- Confidence working with technology and modern business systems
- Curiosity about AI, automation and how emerging tools can improve business operations
- Strong project and change-management capability
- Exceptional organisation, attention to detail and follow-through
- Robust stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to work strategically while remaining hands-on in a growing business
- A genuine interest in health, wellness, movement or education

Experience implementing an LMS or another business-critical technology platform would be highly regarded.



Experience with LearnUpon would be an advantage, but isn't essential.

The Opportunity A significant initial project will be leading the implementation of LearnUpon, including migration, testing, implementation and adoption.

But this isn't an LMS role.

Longer term, success is about helping Unite Health become simpler, smarter and less manual.

The broader chance is to improve systems, introduce smarter ways of working, strengthen reporting, support new products and programs, develop the team and become a trusted operational partner to the General Manager.
