Classification Level: Grade 2 – Qualified The role requires the OSHC Educator to work a combination of the following:

- Before School Care
- After School Care
- School Pupil Free Days
- Vacation Care
- Split Shifts

The Opportunity

St Martin’s Catholic Primary School is seeking enthusiastic qualified, caring and flexible Casual Educators to join our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) team. This role supports the delivery of high-quality care across before school care, after school care, pupil free days and vacation care programs. As a Casual Educator, you will play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where children are encouraged to learn, play and grow. You will contribute to a positive, faith-centred community that values the wellbeing and development of every child.

Key responsibilities include:

- Be responsible for recording observations of individual children or groups for program planning purposes for qualified employees.
- Supervise and engage children in a variety of play-based, recreational and learning experiences
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate OSHC and vacation care programs
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for all children
- Support children’s social, emotional and behavioural development
- Assist with daily routines, including food preparation, set-up and pack-down
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures and child safety standards

About You

We are seeking someone who:

- Demonstrates a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development




- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Is reliable, adaptable and adaptable across a range of shifts
- Works collaboratively as part of a team and contributes positively to team culture

- Holds, or is willing to obtain, relevant qualifications in education, childcare or OSHC

- Current First Aid qualifications (HLTAID012)
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current Responding to Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care Training (Full Course)
- Do Food Safely (free online course)
- Anaphylaxis and Asthma e-learning (free online courses)
- Geccko Childsafe Foundation Training (free online course)
