ABOUT THE ROLE

Omega Chemicals is on the lookout for its next #OmegaGem to fill its Packaging W'house Manager role. Full training will be provided, and ongoing support and guidance will form part of an ordinary work week.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Production of packaged materials
- Production of bulk blended products
- Production Scheduling and ensuring all packaging material is available.
- Liaise with Customer Service Department, Procurement Manager, Accounts Manager and Plant Manager
- Manage SAP entries and monthly stocktake
- Manage staff using Employment Hero for weekly timesheets,



leave requests, performance reviews, and other people matters.
- Supervision of maintenance jobs and packaging staff.
- Maintenance planning and scheduling
- Stock control, including rotation
- Housekeeping and amenities
- Arrange product testing and ensure the product passes QC before being packed/filling
- Formulation supervision
- Daily production and stock reports (Raw materials, finished goods, customer/Omega labels)
- Product filling (IBCs, polys and drums)
- Develop/revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Provide training and maintain training records.
- Full compliance with PPE requirements, keeping a stock of PPE
- Any job that is within your skills and capabilities
- Incident reporting and investigation
