- Own the reliability and maintenance direction for multiple packaging lines, directly supporting continuity of supply and product quality.

- Influence site performance through asset strategy, OPEX and CAPEX planning, change management and targeted process improvement.

- Work at the centre of packaging operations, connecting the maintenance team with production, engineering, OEMs, suppliers and other sites.

Your Impact

Shape the reliability of packaging plant and equipment across the Abbotsford site and lead the Packaging Maintenance Team to maintain continuity of supply and deliver quality product to customers. Your day brings together maintenance priorities, operational requirements, continuous improvement and high-level process problem-solving. As part of the Packaging Leadership Team, you contribute to daily, weekly and monthly operating routines.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the Packaging Maintenance Team through clear goals, coaching, learning plans and effective communication, building a high-performance culture grounded in continuous improvement.

- Optimise preventative and corrective maintenance through an effective PM program, maintenance routines and a structured calendar for regular, annual and shutdown work.

- Control cost centre expenditure while developing OPEX and CAPEX budgets, managing service agreements and balancing financial performance with plant reliability.

- Drive equipment and process improvement by releasing bottlenecks, applying root cause analysis,



evaluating automation and process controls, and authorising plant modifications through change management.

- Partner with operational teams, engineering leaders, contractors, OEMs and support functions to meet production requirements, maintain compliance and transfer knowledge across the site.

About You

- You bring a proven track record in reliability assurance, supported by post-trade or relevant tertiary qualifications and hazardous area training.

- You understand refrigeration, steam systems and services supply, along with the technical factors that influence plant reliability.

- You apply sound knowledge of risk assessment and relevant Australian Standards, HSE, WHS and EPA legislative requirements.

- You engage and inspire team members, creating the conditions for strong performance, skill development and year-on-year improvement.

- You work confidently across project delivery, complex process problem-solving and relationships with operational teams, suppliers, contractors and industry partners.
