Value Lending
Newcastle
About the RoleValue Lending is a structured, decision-driven mortgage brokerage operating across Australia. We don't run volume for its own sake — we run quality, repeatability, and well-reasoned outcomes for clients.
We are looking for a Parabroker to sit inside the credit and assessment workflow and take ownership of the thinking work up to the point of final decision.
This is not a loan processing role. It is not an admin support role. It is a role for someone who wants to own the preparation and assessment work that makes final broker decisions fast, confident, and defensible.
What You Will Own• Reviewing and interpreting client financials — payslips, tax returns, BAS statements, trust and company structures
• Running servicing calculations and assessing lender fit across relevant options
• Preparing complete, submission-ready loan files with transparent written deal narratives
• Owning data quality in Mercury Nexus — our CRM is the source of truth, and that sits with you
• Managing files from assessment through to settlement, including lender and stakeholder liaison
• Proactively identifying credit and policy issues before they become problems
What This Role Is Not• Pure loan processing or document chasing without understanding why
• Admin support
• A volume role — we are not chasing file count
• A role where someone else does the thinking and you execute instructions
If you enjoy responsibility,
prefer to understand a file fully before touching it, and want to become genuinely expert at credit assessment — this role is built for you.
