Exmouth Panel and Paint is a small, family‑run workshop in the beautiful North West of Australia. With one of our long‑standing team members finishing up at the end of the year, we’re looking for a skilled tradesperson to step into a stable, long‑term role within our close‑knit crew. We’re a reputable workshop with a strong flow of insurance, private, and fleet work, and we’re seeking someone who delivers quality workmanship, manages their time well, and wants a dependable role supported by an unbeatable coastal lifestyle.

About the Role

Panel Beating Role

- Structural and cosmetic panel repairs
- Dent removal, pulling, welding, and metal finishing
- Disassembly and reassembly of vehicle components
- Preparing vehicles for paint (sanding, masking, priming)




- Quality control to ensure repairs meet industry and insurer standards
- Basic hand and air tool skills — highly regarded

Spray Painting Role

- Surface preparation, priming, sanding, and sealing
- Colour matching and mixing using modern paint systems
- Applying basecoat, clearcoat, and specialised finishes
- Operating in a clean, skilled spray booth
- Polishing, buffing, and final refinishing
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring booth cleanliness
- Quality control to deliver high‑standard finishes

Who We’re Looking For

- Trade‑qualified Panel Beater and/or Spray Painter
- Reliable, punctual, with strong time‑management skills and pride in workmanship
- Able to work independently and within a small team
- Able to follow specific work instructions
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- High regard for cleanliness — including washing customer vehicles prior to collection
- Open to relocating — we can help make the transition easy
