Role description

This is a part-time (minimum 3 days) or full-time on-site role for a Paralegal or Graduate (or a law student nearing completion of their degree), who has a passion for one of our core areas - Property, Hotels, or Construction. Located in the Sydney CBD, you will handle various day-to-day tasks including supporting our lawyers, running end-to-end processes on PEXA, handling stamp duty and settlements, managing property transactions, conducting legal research, and generally learning to be the best practitioner you can be. The role also involves liaising with clients, stakeholders,



and team members to ensure smooth legal processes and outcomes.

If successful, you’ll work alongside senior lawyers on:

- Hotel transactions (buying, selling and management)
- Supporting leading developers in site acquisitions and sales
- Leasing and development projects
- Industrial sales and acquisitions
- Drafting and reviewing contracts and property documentation
- Providing advice to our clients on their most important mandates
- Managing settlements through PEXA and liaising with key stakeholders

About you

✔ 12+ months’ dedicated property experience – this is an absolute must to hit the ground running - we will not consider anyone who does not meet this criteria

✔ Strong attention to detail and communication skills – you will be talking to clients from the get-go

✔ Proficiency in PEXA

✔ Proactive, organised, and client-focused

- are not currently resident in Australia; or
- do not have at least 12 months of straight property, PEXA, or hotels experience;
- do not have prior experience in a well regarded commercial law firm or in-house team in Australia.
